Dynamiczny rozkwit cywilizacji, jaki obserwujemy na przełomie XX i XXI w., generuje niestety rozwój nie tylko pozytywnych zjawisk. Musimy więc ciągle usprawniać systemy zarządzania kryzysowego. Celem podjętych badań było doskonalenie systemu dowodzenia Policji. Badania oparto przede wszystkim na metodach niestandardowej obserwacji, analizy i konstrukcji logicznej. W artykule zaprezentowano dowodzenie w Policji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem obowiązujących zasad dowodzenia. W rozdziale opisano również hierarchiczność obowiązującą w Policji, jako element wywierający wpływ na funkcjonowanie łańcucha dowodzenia. Na zakończenie przedstawiono propozycje zmian, jakich należy dokonać w policyjnym systemie dowodzenia formacją.

The dynamic development of human civilization at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries unfortunately generates not only positive developments. So we need to constantly improve crisis management systems. The purpose of the research was to improve the police command system. Primarily, the research was based on the methods of non-standard observation and analysis and logical construction. The article presents the command in the Police, with particular emphasis on the rules of command applicable in the police. The article also describes the hierarchical nature of the Police, as an element that influences the functioning of the chain of command. Finally, the author presents the proposed changes and amendments that, in his opinion, should be introduced in the system of command of the police formation.

Security is a multi-faceted, ambiguous and very dynamic concept, in particular no adays, in the light of a rapidly and constantly changing world and our approach t ehT author points out that one of the most major categories of security is state security, which until recently was essentially associated with external threats. Pres the notions of state security and national security are inextricably bound with notion of patriotism. And when properly understood, patriotism is a pillar of sta or national security. Nowadays, patriotism is no longer a combat with the occupant, it is also not a gfiht with one's own state; it is concern for national security and the state. It is work in harmony and with respect for the law, for the sake of one's own homeland and fellow citizens.
