In Poland for many years access to air transport for the average citizen has been very limited, both in terms of cost and distance from the airport. After the liberalization of the aviation market and the introduction of the policy of "open skies", this situation has changed diametrically. The emergence of low-cost carriers has definitely increased the financial availability of air transport. It has also a great influence on the development of regional airports, which have for many years played only a subordinate role in relation to the country's central airport in Warsaw-Okecie. The development of regional airports largely removed the territorial limitation of the availability of air transport, since it is from these ports, we can now get in many parts of Europe and the world. Therefore, we are now seeing a continuous increase in the importance of regional airports. This trend concerns not only Polish, but also in many European countries. The purpose of this article is to determine the degree of development of regional airports in Poland and an indication of their role in the aviation market of the country against trends transport in selected EU countries.

W Polsce przez wiele lat dostęp do transportu lotniczego był dla przeciętnego obywatela mocno ograniczony, zarówno ze względu na ceny jak i odległość od lotniska. Po liberalizacji rynku lotniczego i wprowadzeniu polityki „otwartego nieba” sytuacja ta jednak ulegała diametralnej zmianie. Pojawienie się przewoźników niskokosztowych zdecydowanie zwiększyło dostępność transportu lotniczego pod względem finansowym. Miało ono również niebagatelny wpływ na rozwój regionalnych portów lotniczych, które do tej pory pełniły jedynie służebną rolę w stosunku do centralnego lotniska kraju Warszawa-Okęcie. Rozwój portów regionalnych usunął w znacznym stopniu terytorialne ograniczenie dostępności transportu lotniczego, gdyż to właśnie z tych portów można się obecnie dostać w wiele zakątków Europy i świata. Dlatego też obecnie obserwujemy ciągły wzrost znaczenia regionalnych portów lotniczych. Tendencja ta dotyczy nie tylko Polski, ale również wielu krajów Europy. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest określenie stopnia rozwoju regionalnych portów lotniczych w Polsce oraz wskazanie ich roli w rynku lotniczym kraju na tle trendów w transporcie lotniczym w wybranych krajach UE.

Logistics costs is a category extremely significant costs in terms of profitability of economic activities, as indicated by their relatively high participation in relation to the income. Identification and analysis of logistics costs in enterprises causes significant problems for small and medium-sized enterprises especially, due to adopted method of economic actions recording. In this paper the authors present the implemented methodology and the results of research on the size and structure of logistics costs in small and medium enterprises in relation to the firm generated revenue. Results of analyzes have been compared to results of research in other countries. Then authors point on the methods of logistics costs accounting in the surveyed companies. Logistics costs not only significantly reduce profits, but because narrow exploration of the problem, it is also an important reservoir of enterprise competitiveness improvement. However, before managers take actions to improve the size and structure of logistics costs, in many cases they should deal with inappropriate, inaccurate, or even the lack of logistics costs accounting. Cognitive and analytical action in the area of logistics costs seems to be a first fundamental step in taking corrective actions in this area.

Logistyka ma za zadanie optymalizować system przepływów dóbr i informacji nie tylko wewnątrz danego podmiotu, ale także w całym łańcuchu dostaw. Wszystkie procesy związane z przepływami rzeczowo-informacyjnymi, do których należą planowanie, wdrażanie i monitorowanie, są w kręgu zainteresowania logistyki. Zadania realizowane w ramach całego systemu logistycznego oraz poszczególnych jego podsystemów generują koszty. Badanie kosztów funkcjonowania systemu logistycznego pozwala na kompleksowe spojrzenie na ich kształtowanie/formowanie w całym łańcuchu dostaw oraz w pojedynczych jego ogniwach.
