The author of the article discusses the set of objects excavated from the crematory grave in the village Orońsko situated in the Radom province.Taking into consideration ground observation of the very damaged grave and the degree of burnt vessels and the fact of the bend of a sword one can suppose that it was the crematory grave from the older Roman period typical for the Przeworsk culture. The most interesting element of investigated set ist the ball-shaped pendant representing, most likely la type of A. v. Miiller’s classification. The author discusses the well-known ball-shaped pendants from the area both of Przeworsk and Wielbark culture. The analysis of the grave from Orońsko is very significant for studies on relations between the culture of Przeworsk and Wielbark.

Bei der Verifizierung der These vom grundsätzlich auf Kaszubsko-Krajeńskie Seenplatte beschränkten Auftreten der Kreise, wurden 8, in bisherigen Zusammenstellungen nicht notierten Fundstellen ausser diesem Gebiet festgelegt (Abb.1). Auf Grund der Handschrift vom Jahre 1789 wurde ihre Anwesenheit in Biała, Kłoda und in der Gegend von Łomnica festgestellt. Der Kreis aus Grodno wurde auf Grund des beschreibenden Teils einer Sage von verzauberten Musikern und Tänzern, die gegen das Jahr 1837 (Abb. 3) abgefasst worden war, rekonstruiert. Der Bericht von Brummer aus Broczyn erlaubte, den Kreis und das Hügelgrab mit Steinkranz aus Swierczyna graphisch wieder herzu.stellen (Abb. 4). Informationen über solche Bauten wurden auch in den Berichten von Forschungen in Dorotowo (Abb. 2), Pawłówek und Krępsk notiert. Während der z eitgenöss ischen Terrainuntersuchungen wurden 2 Kreise im Zelgniewo lokalisiert (Abb. 5). Die Ergebnisse der durchgeführten Untersuchungen vergrösserten die Zahl der Fundstellen mit Kreisen bis 26 und die Zahl der Kreise selbst bis 45. (Tab. 1). Das Objekt aus Grodno ist zur Zeit der grösste Kreis von solchem Typ und hat etwa 38 m. Djrchmesser. Die Kreise aus Zelgniew gehören zu den klein stem und jeder hat etwa 12 m. Durchmesser. Mit den dargestellten Objekten aus Swierczyna lind Biali können wahrscheinlich die aus Literatur bekannten Gräberfeldfunde verbunden werden. Die dargestellten Objekte ändern die These vom Auftreten der ähnlichen hauptsächlich in der Zone der Kaszubsko-Krajeńskie Seenplatte. Neue Kreise werden weit süd-westlich von dieser Anhäufung lokalisiert was sich deutlich mit maximalen Bereich der Вesiedlung der Wielbark-Kultur in der Unterstufe B2 und B2/C 1 deckt. Man roll noch einmal auf grosse Möglichkeiten der Wiederherstellung vom Netz der Objekte mit Steinkreisen aufmerksam machen. Solche Möglichkeiten stecken in der Rundfrage des alten archäologischen Schifttums- darin der Sagen.

The article discusses the problem of devastation of archaeological sites, the aim of which is to acquire portable historic objects but without the use of electronic equipment. This type of search, unlike the one carried out with the use of metal detectors, is not regulated by law. Examples of prehistoric metal ornaments and elements of clothing that have found their way to scrap yards indicate that archaeological finds are becoming a source of income for illegal prospectors or accidental finders, not as finds that can be sold to collectors but simply as a secondary raw material.

With three new findings of the Masłomęcz type duck fibulae, their number has increased to 14. The concentration of these primers in the Masłomęcz group and the surrounding area seems to confirm the thesis about their local production. In the essay, the duck is presented as an ornamental motif in the cultures of the Gothic circle of the Late Roman Period, which indicates that this bird played a certain role in the beliefs of the Goths.

Amateur searches for archaeological artefacts, most frequently with the use of metal detectors, are generally aimed at building up private collections. They have also become a source of income in the illegal trade in artefacts. Collecting ancient artefacts as recyclable metal is a new phenomenon. At the scrapyard in Milczany, Sandomierz district, several kilograms of such scrap were found, among which two fibulae from the Roman period, Almgren 67 and 43, were recognised. They are valuable in the research into the history of the Przeworsk Culture. The authors also note the widespread practice of collecting striped flint, used by modern jewellers, which has resulted in the devastation of several sites which were relics of ancient mines of this material. The authors consider the scientific value of the recovered artefacts, which often cannot be localised precisely. They call for the unceasing promotion of the value of archaeological artefacts and indicate its effectiveness in the Hrubieszów Basin
