Nowadays, in the XXI century the world faces new global energy problems connected with natural resources such as gas, oil etc. and its delivery from supplier countries to recipient states. The natural gas became the part of international policy and international security policy. Such called „gas wars” became a new form of economic and political wars between states. The main actors on these conflicts are Russia – one of the biggest world gas empires, the European Union countries – tightly depended on gas importing from Russia and new post-communism states, such as Ukraine, Belarus, which are still staying under the Russian political and economic pressure.
