W artykule przedstawiono opinię społeczeństwa na temat dostępu do informacji o finansowaniu inwestycji środowiskowych oraz świadomość społeczną w zakresie ochrony środowiska i podstawowych pojęć z zakresu ekologii i gospodarki odpadami. W badaniu zwrócono uwagę na znaczenie edukacji ekologicznej w budowaniu świadomości społeczeństwa. W opinii respondentów zarządzanie odpadami powinno być zgodne z zasadą zrównoważonego rozwoju. Wspieranie inwestorów i rozwój nowych technologii leży w gestii władz państwa.

The article presents the opinion of the public on access to information on the financing of environmental investments and public awareness on environmental protection and the basic concepts of ecology and waste management. The study highlighted the importance of environmental education in building public awareness. According to respondents, waste management should be consistent with the principle of sustainable development. Support for investors and the development of new technologies is the responsibility of authorities of the country
