It was verified whether subjects who were on empty stomach perceived delayed payments differently from people who were immediately after a meal. The results showed that subjects were satisfied with a smaller delayed payment when they were before than after the meal.

Sprawdzano, czy stan naszego żołądka może determinować postrzeganie odroczonych wypłat. W przeprowadzonym eksperymencie pytano osoby badane, które były na czczo albo bezpośrednio po posiłku, o określenie ekwiwalentu natychmiastowego dla kwoty odroczonej. Uzyskane wyniki pokazały, że badani zadowalali się mniejszą częścią kwoty odroczonej, gdy byli przed niż po posiłku.
