The article addresses the issue of understanding of culture in the light of the so-called Trinitarian ontology. Giuseppe Maria Zanghí, a ontemporary, who died two years ago, is an Italian philosopher and theologian sociated with Chiara Lubich and the Focolare Movement founded by her. The key elements are the analysis of the events of Christ – from the Incarnation to the Cross, as well as the Resurrection after it. This article discusses the criticism of ontology by G.M. Zanghí, his proposal to recreate this branch of science and its possible consequences for the Western culture. Taką refleksję proponuje Giuseppe Maria Zanghí, współczesny – zmarły przeszło dwa lata temu – włoski filozof i teolog, związany z Chiarą Lubich oraz ufundowanym przez nią Ruchem Focolare. Elementami kluczowymi są analiza wydarzenia Chrystusa – od Inkarnacji aż do opuszczenia na krzyżu, jak również następującego po nim Zmartwychwstania. W artykule omawia się krytykę ontologii dokonaną przez G.M. Zanghiego, jego propozycję rekonstrukcji tej gałęzi nauki oraz możliwe jej konsekwencje dla kultury zachodniej.
This article presents theology in three aspects: definitions, methods and places in the modern world. The definition is derived using the statements of the ecclesiastical Magisterium. A reflection on the method is based on some selected academic publications and the ecclesiastical Magisterium statements, too. The basis for a brief reflection on the place of theology is J. Ritter’s thought and the statement of the ecclesiastical Magisterium (“Gaudium et Spes”). The article is addressed to both theologians and the representatives of other sciences.
The article presents the issue of Tradition in the understanding of Catholic theology. It starts from the definition of tradition in general and then presents thetheological understanding of Tradition in relation to the person of Jesus Christ and bearers of Tradition, above all the Church as the People of God and the Magisterium. Finally, selected council rulings are analyzed in which the subject of Tradition is raised in its relation to the Holy Scriptures.
Author gives an answer to the question of how to understand creation in the light of Passover by referring primarily to the reflections by a contemporary Italian philosopher and theologian Giuseppe Maria Zanghí. The substance of the article consists of three points: the Easter trinitology, the ontological implications of the Paschal event and the premise of creation in the perspective of the Paschal event.
