W artykule przedstawiono podstawy zrównoważonego rozwoju wsi. Jednym z narzędzi implementacji zasad ekorozwoju jest gospodarka odpadami. Problem dużej masy wytwarzanych odpadów występuje na wielu obszarach wiejskich. Rozwojowi technologicznemu w dziedzinie unieszkodliwiania i wykorzystania odpadów musi towarzyszyć wzrost świadomości ekologicznej społeczeństwa. Zaproponowano projekt ulotki ekologicznej dla podniesienia świadomości ekologicznej przedsiębiorców branży spożywczej.

This paper presents the basis of sustainable development of rural areas. Waste management is one of the tools for implementing the idea of sustainable development. Large quantity of waste is a problem that occurs in numerous rural areas. Technological development in utilization and waste disposal should be associated with an increase of environmental awareness and society involvement in the correct waste management. A design of leaflets was proposed to raise the ecological awareness of the entrepreneurs involved in the organic food industry.
