The author discusses factors affecting relations between three groups of countries, i.e. highly developed capitalist countries, developing countries, and socialist countries in the first half of the eighies. He outlines the stand point of socialist countries concerning North-South relations, end especially the concept of New International Economic Order. Special emphasis has been placed on universal character of the problem of remodelllng international relations, including economic relations. There are indicated desirable directions in activity of socialist countries and difficulties encountered in remodelling the international economic order.
