The article concerns the spread of the Reformation in the 16th century in West Pomerania, with a special consideration for its influence on the populace. It illustrates the influence of the Reformation on the industrial culture and the development of education in the greater cities of West Pomerania, i.e. Szczecin, Koszalin or Słupsk. The article constitutes for an outline of the issues related to the religious movement in 16th century Pomerania.

Artykuł poświęcony jest rozprzestrzenieniu się reformacji w XVI wieku na terenach Pomorza Zachodniego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem jej wpływu na ludność zamieszkującą te ziemie. Zobrazowano wpływ reformacji na kulturę umysłową i rozwój szkolnictwa w większych miasta Pomorza Zachodniego, czyli Szczecinie, Koszalinie czy Słupsku. Artykuł stanowi zarys problematyki związanej z ruchem religijnym na Pomorzu w XVI wieku.
