Smartphones and tablets become toys for ever younger children. They let tired parents rest for a moment and become a remedy for boredom. Smartphone is also a device that we use habitually, not only during leisure time, but also during classes or at work. As with any new technology, there are doubts about the side effects of such a situation. Current research on the use of new technologies will be presented from the perspective of transactional analysis, a psychotherapeutic school adapted to educational needs. The psychological perspective allows showing the effects of certain life choices in the long-term perspective.

Smartfony i tablety stają się zabawkami dla coraz młodszych dzieci. Pozwalają zmęczonym rodzicom na chwilę odpoczynku i stają się remedium na nudę. Smartfon staje się także urządzeniem, z którego korzystamy nawykowo, nie tylko w czasie wolnym, lecz także podczas zajęć dydaktycznych czy w pracy. Jak w przypadku każdej nowej technologii pojawiają się wątpliwości dotyczące skutków ubocznych takiej sytuacji. Aktualne badania dotyczące korzystania z nowych technologii zostaną zaprezentowane z perspektywy analizy transakcyjnej, szkoły psychoterapeutycznej zaadaptowanej do potrzeb edukacyjnych. Perspektywa psychologiczna pozwala na pokazanie skutków określonych życiowych wyborów w perspektywie długofalowej.
