Charitable Activity of Religious Congregations in Stanislav Diocese in 1896-1946The article presents charitable activity of female religious congregations at the territory of Stanislav diocese. A careful study of archival documentation and historiographical materials allowed the author to establish that in the years 1896–1946 nuns founded a considerable number of orphanages, nursing homes for the elderly and people with disabilities. All the necessary care was provided by the nuns themselves.
