The article presents the role of teachers’ professional reflection in inclusive education. A teacher in a classroom with pupils with diverse educational needs (including persons with disabilities, behavioural disorders or coming from different cultures) faces many non-standard educational situations. He/She must modify his/her educational activities based on observation of phenomena, deepening his/her knowledge and reflection on his/her observations. In these activities he/she should get the help of specialists, school administration and social environment. The author draws a model of changing the personal professional knowledge of teachers of self-reflection.

The author presents changes in ways of helping a child with learning difficulties. Contemporary early school education focuses on leaving a child a lot of independence during pedagogical activities aimed at helping in the implementation of tasks that are difficult for a child. Particularly important here is the need to leave a child time to understand the whole task to be performed. Helping a child to perform particular activities must not interfere with his understanding and independent thinking as well as the activities planned by him. It is important for the child to seek his own way to achieve the result even at the cost of making mistakes and repeating work.

Autorka przedstawia zmiany w sposobach pomocy dziecku z trudnościami w nauce. Współczesna edukacja wczesnoszkolna kładzie nacisk na pozostawienie dziecku dużej samodzielności podczas działań pedagogicznych, których celem jest udzielenie pomocy w realizacji zadań sprawiających mu trudność. Szczególnie ważna jest tu potrzeba pozostawienia dziecku czasu na zrozumienie całości zadania do wykonania. Pomoc dziecku w wykonywaniu poszczególnych czynności nie może zakłócać jego rozumienia i samodzielnego myślenia oraz zaplanowanych przez niego działań. Ważne jest samodzielne poszukiwanie przez dziecko własnej drogi do uzyskania rezultatu, nawet kosztem popełnienia błędów i powtarzania pracy.
