A review of V. Zaikyn is one of the most interesting and competent reviews on the book of М. Rudnyckyj “Between an idea and form” (Mizh idejeju i formoju) (1932) in Lviv in press of intermilitary period. This review is possible to consider as unique, as it is a maximally tolerant, attentive and self-weighted estimation of book by М. Rudnyckyj as a standard of liberal criticism, payed by a ideological opponent — supporter of traditional Orthodoxal Christian world view. Contrasting collision and contrasting two cardinally different world views, absolutely different systems of values and cultural coordinates that contain review and criticized book, are very interesting for a modern research and allow to understand the spiritual range of problems and cultural tradition of intermilitary literary process.
