The article is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, whose cult is still alive. The persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire by Emperor Maxentius left a mark in the form of conversion of many pagans, philosophers, and the empress to the faith in the One God. Analysis of the life of St. Catherine is based on sources.

Artykuł poświęcony jest św. Katarzynie Aleksandryjskiej, której kult jest wciąż żywy. Prześladowania chrześcijan w Imperium Rzymskim, przez cesarza Maksencjusza, odcisnęły piętno w postaci nawrócenia na wiarę w Jedynego Boga wielu pogan, filozofów, a także cesarzową. Analiza żywotu św. Katarzyny jest przeprowadzona na podstawie źródeł.
