The article presents the assumptions of the Senior-Friendly Commune Program, National Senior Citizen Card, the Głos Seniora Magazine as a tool for activating seniors. The article highlights the sense of integration of the non-governmental, public and private sectors in creating institutional conditions for the life and functioning of seniors.

The article presents the problem of fraud and scams directed at the elderly. The problem of fraud during the coronavirus period was particularly marked. The most common methods used by criminals are outlined. Then the authors refer to six methods of psychomanipulation, which are used during extortions on seniors. The next part of the article presents the „Solidarity with Seniors – we will manage together” campaign, under which the Manko-Głos Seniora Association supports seniors during the coronavirus period, as well as educates them and warns against fraud and scams.

Artykuł przedstawia problem związany z oszustwami i wyłudzeniami skierowanymi do osób starszych. Szczególnie został zaznaczony problem oszustw w okresie koronawirusa. Zostały nakreślone najczęstsze metody stosowane przez przestępców. Następnie autorzy odnieśli się do 6 metod psychomanipulacji, które wykorzystywane są podczas wyłudzeń na seniorach. Kolejną częścią artykułu jest przedstawienie kampanii „Solidarni z Seniorami – razem damy radę”, w ramach której Stowarzyszenie MANKO/Głos Seniora wspiera seniorów w okresie koronawirusa, a także edukuje ich i ostrzega przed oszustwami i wyłudzeniami.
