Text of poetics puns in the traditional folk culture of laughter Abstract The article analyzes the traditions of folk culture of laughter in relation to one of the most popular genres of urban folklore. Particular attention is paid to verbal visualization techniques used in the text in compliance with the basic features of this phenomenon. Under a verbal visualization understood transcoding visual range in verbal means of vocabulary and descriptive visual syntax. We consider some of the most productive verbal visualization techniques: description predicate images using the visual modality; addition to describe the arguments from the scope of their own experience and others.   Key words: laughter text; verbal visualization, urban folklore.
