Distribution channels play an important role for the market. The cut flower market has big potential for development in such countries as Ukraine and Poland. In the article there outlined a comparison of distribution channels of cut flowers in European countries. A model of the distribution system was created which determined the main locations of flower trade in the European countries.

Celem pracy była próba wskazania czynników wpływających na skłonności do wykorzystywania internetu w celach zawodowych przez rolników. W części teoretycznej scharakteryzowano model oraz omówiono sposób estymacji. W części metodycznej zbudowano wielomianowy model uporządkowany, za pomocą którego objaśniono prawdopodobieństwo wykorzystywania internetu w celach zawodowych. Zmiennymi, które najsilniej oddziaływają na zmienną objaśnianą okazały się fakt podejmowania działalności inwestycyjnej oraz płeć kierownika gospodarstwa rolnego.

The aim of this study was to identify factors that influence the propensity to use the Internet by farmers. The theoretical part characterized the model and method of estimation. The methodological part built a multinomial model, which explained the probability of using the Internet for the work activity of farmers. The explanatory variables which had the greatest influence for explained variables, proved to be the investment activity and the gender of the manager of the farm.

In this paper the problem of Status Quo and willingness to pay by inhabitants of Haute- Normandy region in France for reduction of risk of erosive runoff was researched. The paper is dedicated to the definition of the factors which influence people’s willingness and unwillingness to pay for protection from erosive runoff. Analysis of data requires statistical methods that can properly account for the correlation of respondents with the risk of missing values due to drop-out of study respondents.
