Wpływ wyborów translatorskich na zmiany w sylwetce głównego bohatera filmu Kalina czerwona w tłumaczeniu na język polski Artykuł stanowi próbę przeanalizowania niektórych wyborów translatorskich, za-stosowanych w tłumaczeniu filmu kalina czerwona na język polski. rozpatrywa-ne przykłady zostały przez autora podzielone na podgrupy: żargonizmy, przysłowia, wypowiedzi intertekstualne, które współtworzą językowy autoportret bohatera. Autorka artykułu, analizując wybrane zagadnienia, stara się wyjaśnić, w jakim stopniu zaproponowane przez tłumacza wersje oddają charakter wypowiedzi głównego bohatera, dlaczego postać ta traci wiele cech istotnych dla charakterystyki i zrozumie-nia jej tragicznego losu. analiza wybranych przykładów oraz wyprowadzone na jej podstawie wnioski nasuwają też ważne pytanie o odpowiedzialność tłumacza, który wprowadza film do kultury przyjmującej, występując w roli łącznika pomiędzy dwoma odmiennymi światami. The impact of translator’s choices on changes of the main ccaracter in the translation of the film The Red Snowball tree into the Polish language The article intends to present an attempt to analyze some translator’s choices and strategies applied in translation of Vasily shukshin’s film The Red Snowball Tree into the polish language. such important issues as jargons, proverbs, intertextual utterances that co­create a linguistic self­portrait of the main character, are divided by the author into subgroups. While analysing solutions proposed by the translator, the author of the article tries to explain the extent to which they reflect the character of expressions of the main character. the author also tries to emphasize all the changes that happen with the main character and proposes her own solutions of the translation. a matter of the responsibility of the translator for all changes, which influence on the characteristics of the main character, is also regarded.
