The article contains a brief theoretical description of fundamental issues related to its content, such as importance of family relationships in the child’s development, and the change in their being understood by children who participated in open bibliotherapeutic workshops. Next, the reader is going to become familiar with excerpts of three case studies: Igor, Kuba and Kordian – the subjects. The description presents Family Drawings and surveys with the subjects during initial and final research (that is before and during their participation in open bibliotherapeutic workshops). The key part of the description is presentation of understanding – interpretation – of expressive content at the initial and final research stages, as well as emphasizing the alterations of presenting emotions and experiences related to significant persons, which were influenced by open workshops. The changes, observed in three descriptions, were assessed by competent experts as constructive for the intrapersonal development of the subjects. The presented part of qualitative research is an example of vast individualizing research in the form of a Doctoral Thesis which verifies the influence of bibliotherapeutic activities on pre-school children’s intrapersonal development.
