Kontrowersje w poezji Lucyny Skompskiej

The article discusses the potentiality which regulates or disturbs the flow of events in the poetry of Lucyna Skompska. The accidental character of events as well as the controversies demonstrating themselves in the book of poetry Farby wodne [water colours] resemble, on the one hand, the technique of water colours, and, on the other, point to a characteristic strand of  Skompska’s works, which is attempting to show the possibility and impossibility. The most significant background for the reflections is the philosophy of Giorgio Agamben, who analyzes the conduct of Bratleby, a copyist from Melville’s short story. The scribe’s weakness morphs into an ambivalent literary experience, and the poems connote “dead letters” sent out to the world.

W artykule została omówiona potencjalność, która reguluje/zaburza przebieg zdarzeń w poezji Lucyny Skompskiej. Przygodność zjawisk i kontrowersje ujawniające się w tomie Farby wodne z jednej strony przypominają technikę malowania akwareli, a z drugiej wskazują na ideę twórczości Skompskiej, czyli próby przedstawienia możności i niemożności. Najważniejszym tłem rozważań jest filozofia Agambena, który analizuje postępowanie kopisty Bartleby’ego, bohatera opowiadania Melville’a. Przypadłość skryby  przeistacza się we wzór ambiwalentnego doświadczenia literackiego, a wiersze w zagadkowy sposób kojarzą się z „martwymi listami” wysyłanymi do świata.

Discussion of: Anna Moszyńska. Listy z Pirny, 1850. Uzupełnione fragmentami dziennika oraz listami Piotra Moszyńskiego, [Anna Moszyńska. Letters from Pirna, 1850, supplemented with excerpts from the diary and letters from Piotr Moszyński], edited by Emilia Kolinko. The text discusses innovative editing techniques (together with the handwritten comments in personal documents), contrasted against existing writing practices and a short description of how Archiwum Kobiet [Women’s Archive] published books. The paper, among other things, discusses the relationship between the autobiographical works and the madness and exclusion of female authors. Other issues presented include restoring a deep relationship between the past, present and reality in the egodocuments and other works (biographies, calendars, commentaries).

Omówienie książki Anna Moszyńska. Listy z Pirny, 1850. Uzupełnione fragmentami dziennika oraz listami Piotra Moszyńskiego, którą opracowała Emilia Kolinko. Tekst zawiera rozpoznanie kierunku zarysowującego się w nowatorskim edytorstwie (zachowującym rękopiśmienny kształt dokumentów osobistych), związków tej tendencji z różnymi praktykami filologicznymi oraz krótki opis założeń serii wydawniczej Archiwum Kobiet. W recenzji sformułowane zostały m.in. pytania dotyczące związków między dziełami autobiografistyki a szaleństwem i wykluczeniem kobiet autorek. Wśród innych zagadnień pojawiają się tematy przywracania głębokiej relacji między czasem przeszłym, teraźniejszym i realnością w egodokumentach oraz towarzyszących im pracach (biografiach, kalendariach, komentarzach).

Przygody Sindbada, czyli fantazmaty Leśmiana?

The article discusses the psychoanalytical interpretation of Leśmian’s fairy tale The adventures of Sindbad Sailor by Bogusław Grodzki. Following Freud’s and Bettelheim’s concepts, it claims that Sindbad’s psychosexual development and his relations with the princesses reflect Leśmian’s phantasms – the poet’s erotic/sexual desires. In Grodzki’s work fiction seems to be an autobiographical tale and verbal psychotherapy. Misiak, on the other hand, presents the sex/gender categories and introduces the distinction between the autobiography and autofiction as well as certain poststructural and feminist categories.
