Niniejsza praca porusza problematykę rozwoju turystyki konnej na obszarach wiejskich. Autorka skupia się na przedstawieniu sylwetki osób uprawiających jeździectwo, ich motywacji oraz cech charakteru. Formułuje tezę, że osoby uprawiające turystykę konną uważają kontakt ze zwierzęciem w naturalnym otoczeniu za idealny sposób na udany relaks, wypoczynek czy wspaniałą przygodę. W dalszej części poświęcono uwagę rozwojowi infrastruktury na terenach wiejskich. W artykule zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych na grupie 50 osób – wyłącznie ze środowiska jeździeckiego.

This paper raises the issue of the development of equestrian tourism in rural areas. Author focuses on the presentation of silhouettes of people participating practicing riding their motivation and character. It emphasizes the idea that people who engage in farm horse-riding feel contact with the animal in the natural environment as an ideal way to successful relaxation, relaxation or a great adventure. In the next part is devoted attention to the development of infrastructure in rural areas. The article presents the results of a survey conducted on a group of 50 people exclusively from the environment equestrian.
