Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja możliwości wykorzystania BI w zarządzaniu strategicznym bankiem. Ponadto autor dokonał charakterystyki założeń, których spełnienie warunkuje korzyści płynące z zastosowania systemów BI przez bank.

The article describes the benefits resulting from application the becoming more and more popular business decision support systems – Business Intelligence (BI) – in a strategic bank management. The purpose of the article is to identify the possibility of using BI in strategic bank management. Moreover, the author described conditions that determine the benefits of using BI system by bank.
