The book of events (1968) of Bernard Sztajnert was constructed on the base of geometric terms. A hero-narrator of the novel tries to transmit goemetric shapes to human fate and to determine relationships between occurences, starling with points, going farther through lines, cirles until to the blocks of events.

Księga Czasu (The Book of Time) by Bernard Sztajnert is allegorical story about intellectual and spiritual maturation of the man. The hero of the story tries to get to know and to understand a difficult truth about the world and thanks to the fact, that he calls himself the King of Time” , he perhaps manages to comprehend the chaos existing in this world. However, the hero of the story finds out that the essence of the world is its inscrutability.
