In a critical note to the publication of the Czech collection of texts Padesát let od smrti José Ortegy y Gasseta (Fifty years since the death of José Ortega y Gasset, Prague, 2006), the author draws our attention above all to the expressions of a repeated distortion of Ortega’s perspectivism, and to the unjustified attempt to present the Spanish philosopher as the direct precursor of extreme neo-conservative liberalism.
