Uprowadzenia dla okupu budzą wśród polskiego społeczeństwa wiele emocji. Zazwyczaj powodują sprzeciw oraz oburzenie, szczególnie, gdy ofiarą staje się dziecko. Zwiększająca się przestępczość oraz zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego wskazują, jak ważna jest ochrona i obrona prawa jednostki do wolności. Przedmiotowe opracowanie wskazuje, jakie są podstawy prawne ścigania i wykrywania sprawców przestępstw oraz elementy pracy policji w procesie wykrywczym po uprowadzeniu dla okupu lub wymuszenia określonego zachowania.

He ransom abductions give rise to many emotions among Polish society. They usually cause opposition and indignation, especially when the child becomes a victim. Increasing crime and threats to internal security indicate how important it is to protect and defend the individual’s right to freedom. This study shows what are the legal grounds for prosecution and detection of perpetrators of offenses and elements of the work of the police in the detection process after abduction for ransom or forcing a particular behavior.

The study presents the phenomenon of pedophilia in the cyberworld, a very significant threat to society and the activities of services in the protection of minors. Pedophilia is one of the most unacceptable behaviors, it is a serious challenge in the era of huge digitization both for services involved in detecting the perpetrators of sexual abuse of children, as well as for parents who have a legal and social obligation to protect children from threats, including threats from pedophiles.

Women’s crime in Poland exists to a much lesser extent than men’s crime – and this difference is the subject of theoretical considerations and empirical research. The reasons for this state of affairs can be found mainly in a much smaller number of cases that can be examined and in a lesser social need to explain this phenomenon. Undoubtedly, however, this phenomenon is a threat to the security of individuals. Prevention of security threats is associated with building strong local communities by undertaking actions aimed at reducing the level of anxiety in society and aimed at improving social standards and the culture of social coexistence. The aim of this study is to try to explain the phenomenon of crime of women and its impact on the sense of security of the individual. The authors attempt to answer the following questions: what is the scale of women’s crime in Poland? what is the mechanism of action of women criminals and what are the motives for their actions? how women’s crime affects the sense of security of individuals?
