Pedagogical activities should be characterised by, among other things, a subjective approach towards a child, as well as a bit of a parent / tutor’s creativity, and pedagogical methods should be deliberate and intentional. Given the above, the aim of this article is to present the usefulness of board games in child-rearing process. Presentation of the usefulness of board games is based on the classifi cation of pedagogical methods according to Mieczysław Łobocki.
