The document for an unknown by his name wójt (advocatus hereditarius) of Chełm, living at the turn of the 14th and the 15th century did not survive to our times. It burned during unknown time and circumstances. At the beginning of the 16th century Paweł Kamieniecki of Pomianów, the wójt of Chełm, approched Alexander, the king of Poland, about renewing the privilege . On 29 of August 1502 the ruler, having acceded to the request, issued a new privilege for the wójt of Chełm. The article contains the edition of the privilege.

Dokument dla nieznanego z imienia wójta dziedzicznego miasta Chełma z przełomu XIV i XV w. nie zachował się. Spłonął w nieznanym nam czasie i okolicznościach. W początkach XVI w. wójt chełmski Paweł Kamieniecki z Pomianowa zwrócił się z prośbą do króla Aleksandra o odnowienie przywileju. Władca przychylając się do tej prośby w dniu 29 sierpnia 1502 r. wystawił nowy przywilej na wójtostwo chełmskie.
