Celem prowadzonych badań było zrekonstruowanie ról pełnionych przez kobiety będące żonami żołnierzy zawodowych oraz ukazanie obszarów samotności wynikającej z przyjęcia wielu ról w codzienności rodzinnej. Do badania wykorzystano technikę wywiadu. Badaniami objęte były żony wojskowych, które pozostają w związku małżeńskim powyżej 20 lat, a ich mężowie służą w Wojsku Polskim ponad 15 lat. Prezentowane wyniki badań są częścią szerszego projektu badawczego zmierzającego do zrekonstruowania jakości życia kobiet, których mężowie są żołnierzami zawodowymi. Analiza uzyskanych wyników wskazuje, że żony wojskowych wskazują na pełnienie przez nich roli nie tylko żony, matki czy też pracownika ale wchodzą w rolę opiekuna (osoby chroniącej) mężów przed trudami i niedomaganiami codziennego życia rodzinnego. Kobiety - z uwagi na specyfikę pracy ich mężów - niejednokrotnie - z jednej strony, odczuwają niepokój, lęk i obawy o przyszłość, z drugiej strony, starają się być zaradne, dzielne i starają się godnie sprostać spadającym na nie obowiązkom.

The aim of research was to reconstruct the roles of women – wives of professional soldiers and to present the areas of loneliness resulting from accepting many roles in family everyday life. The research was carried out with the technic of an interview. In the research took part the wives who have been married to soldiers for more than 20 years, and their husbands have been in Polish Army for more than 15 years. The presented results of research are a part of a wider research project which aims at reconstructing the quality of lives of women whose husbands are professional soldiers. The analysis of results shows that wives of soldiers claim to act not only as wives, mothers or employees but also guardians (protectors) of husbands in protecting them from hardships and downsides of everyday family life. Women – due to specific of their husbands’ employment – many times – on the one hand are anxious about their future, on the other hand try to be resourceful, brave and fulfill their duties with dignity.

Praca stanowi ważny element w życiu każdego człowieka. Dla jednych może stać się sensem życia, czy też być narzędziem do osiągania innych celów. Bez wątpienia aktywność zawodowa każdego człowieka jest ważna. To, jaką pracę zawodową podejmuje człowiek w pewnej mierze uzależnione jest od jego wcześniejszych doświadczeń, w tym także – a może przede wszystkim – doświadczeń edukacyjnych. W tekście podjęto próbę refleksji nad znaczeniem doświadczeń zdobywanych przez dziecko z dysleksją rozwojową a możliwością, czy też barierami w podejmowaniu pracy zawodowej.

Work is an important element in the life of every human being. For some, it can become the meaning of life or be a tool for achieving other goals. Undoubtedly, the professional activity of every person is important. What kind of professional work does a man depend to a certain extent on his previous experience, including - or perhaps first of all - educational experience. The text attempts to reflect on the meaning of experiences acquired by a child with developmental dyslexia and the possibility or barriers to taking up a job.

W tekście przybliżona zostanie problematyka mutyzmu, podane będą jego rodzaje. Na tle założeń teoretycznych dokonana będzie analiza przypadku chłopca, u którego zdiagnozowano mutyzm. Indywidualny przypadek badanego dziecka będzie stanowił podstawę do dyskusji na temat czynników warunkujących wystąpienie mutyzmu

Communication is one of the most important determinants of human functioning in the society. The purpose of this article is to present mutism as one form of communication disorder. The text will approximate the problem of mutism and its kinds. Against the background of theoretical assumptions, a case of a boy diagnosed with mutism will be analyzed. The individual case of the examined child will constitute the basis for a discussion of the factors determining the occurrence of this particular disorder
