The text tells the story of a collection of dresses for elderly ladies, which Justyna Koeke made using her (and her sisters') drawings from childhood, depicting princesses and saints. The unusual collection of costumes, exploding with colours and form, created by the artist has come an incredible way: from the first spontaneous parade (held in a social context) in a small Polish city Świecie, through a professional fashion session in the old nursing home in Stuttgart along with a public show, choreography, in the modern architecture of the Stadtbibliothek Stuttgart, up to the presentation during the Berlin Alternative Fashion Week. The dresses from "Princesses and Saints" have always been presented by senior models.
