Tendencies of development of pedagogical education in the UK by setting connection with educational reforms and on the basis of periodization taken qualitative educational changes occurring under the influence of these reforms.We have followed the development of pedagogical educationin the country distinguished stages of thi sdevelopment and characterized them. Identified six stages of formation and development of education in the UK. In explaining the development of education degree in the UK revealed its trends: from introduction of high education degree (Stage 1) to mainly theoretical training of future teachers (Stage 2) – to making a state system of pedagogical education, declaration of compulsory secondary education (stage 3), to proclamation declaration of higher education for teachers (Stage 4 ), to a more flexible and deep education to the development of the system of teacher training, to the dissemination of general education (stage 5) to provide quality educational services, establishment of specialized schools (6 stage). Based on the analysis of the literature of domestic and foreign researchers found that the structure and content of vocational and educational training of teachers during the XIX-XXI centuries experienced significant change under the influence of a new understanding of school, functions of teacher.At the beginning of ХХІ centuries central authorities retain a tendency to go lifelong learning, the introduction of educational standards, provide quality educational services, widespread adoption of innovations.
