This article discusses the concept of international cooperative seminars and their key role in preparing future foreign language teachers for organizing intercultural school exchanges. The authors thoroughly explain the main aims and rules which should govern the organization and implementation of intercultural school exchanges. The discussion is illustrated with the resultsof the Polish-German project on student cooperation conducted by the Institute of Applied Linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) and the Institute of School Pedagogy at the Philipps University of Marburg (Germany).

Wprowadzenie przyszłych nauczycielek i nauczycieli języka niemieckiego do organizacji międzynarodowej wymiany szkolnej W artykule poruszane są zagadnienia związane z koncepcją międzynarodowych seminariów studenckich oraz ich kluczową rolą w przygotowaniu przyszłych nauczycieli języków obcych do organizacji międzynarodowych wymian szkolnych. Przedmiotem dokładnych rozważań są w związku z tym cele, przebieg i wyniki modelowego niemiecko-polskiego seminarium projektowego, które zostało poświęcone organizacji międzynarodowych wizyt uczniowskich i przeprowadzone w Instytucie Lingwistyki Stosowanej w Poznaniu (Polska) i w Instytucie Pedagogiki Szkolnej w Marburgu (Niemcy).
