The article attempts to summarize academic output in the area of organizational learning, emphasizing the need of intentional management of this process in organizations. The authors present selected classifications of organizational learning theory, as well as other research problems formulated by different scientific disciplines.
According to M. E. Porter competitive advantage is more and more attributed to innovativeness capability. Unfortunately, results of innovativeness analysis of Polish enterprises confirm their low and even decreasing innovativeness level.
