Prawo globalizacji gospodarki i rozwój technologiczny daje podatnikowi ogromne możliwości zmniejszenia swoich zobowiązań podatkowych Jednym z instrumentów umożliwiających skutecznie, a nawet całkowite uniknięcie konieczności zapłaty podatku jest skorzystanie z rezydencji terytoriów, na których istniejący system prawny nie przewiduje jakiegokolwiek opodatkowania lub zmniejszania jego rozmiaru do poziomu nieporównywalnie niższego niż w jakimkolwiek innym państwie. Terytoria takie są powszechnie określane jako raje podatkowe. Niniejsze opracowanie stanowi próbę wyjaśnienia terminu raj podatkowy, przedstawienie ich cech charakterystycznych, a także rodzajów i ich klasyfikacji.

The law of global economy and technological development offer increadible possibilities to taxpayers who want to decrease their tax liability. One of the instruments used to effectively avoid tax is the residency of the territory which does not regulate any taxing or limits its size to the level much lower than in any other country in the world. Such territories are known as tax havens. The following study attempts to explain the definition of tax havens, then it presents their features, types and classifications.
