The space of analysis of the events of the Second World War is the text – written memoirs of the great-aunt, preserved archival documents, and field visits made in the footsteps of relatives repatriated from Lithuania, through Podlasie, Warmia, Masuria and Pomerania. The juxtaposition of these elements serves to highlight the complex relationship between history, memory, identity, language, and land – as a source of knowledge about the past and a complex fabric of its image.

Przestrzenią analizy zdarzeń z okresu II wojny światowej jest tekst – spisane wspomnienia ciotecznej babki, zachowane dokumenty archiwalne oraz wizje lokalne odbyte śladami krewnych repatriowanych z Litwy przez Podlasie, Warmię, Mazury i Pomorze. Zestawienie tych elementów służy uwydatnieniu skomplikowanej zależności pomiędzy historią, pamięcią, tożsamością, językiem i ziemią – jako źródło wiedzy o przeszłości i złożona tkanka jej obrazu.
