The text concerns the role of language used by the protagonists of Michał Witkowski’s prose in forming their identities, i.e., sexual identity. Michał Witkowski, the author of Lubiewo, Margot and Drwal, is often called the most important Polish gay writer. In his works, he presents such topics as poverty, sexuality, sex and gender.
