Aktywność zawodowa osób z grupy Silversów uczestniczących w kształceniu permanentnym we współczesnej Polsce

The article presents the situation of the Polish people aged 55-64, commonly known as the “silver generation,” in the context of their professional careers and lifelong learning. The aim of the analysis is to examine the relationship between these people’s education or training and their employment. The study uses descriptive statistics, including Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient and the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The analysis is based on annual data collected by the Polish Central Statistical Office in the years 2010-2020. The results of the research demonstrate that the percentage of people participating in education or training, despite fluctuations in time, increased in the years 2010-2020. Therefore, it can be concluded that that the increase in the number of people participating in education or training is very strongly related to the increase in the employment rate in the analysed age group.

W artykule analizie poddano sytuację osób w wieku 55-64 lat w Polsce, popularnie nazywanych Silversami, w kontekście pracy zawodowej oraz uczestnictwa w kształceniu permanentnym. Celem przeprowadzonych badań było zweryfikowanie tezy o istnieni związku pomiędzy udziałem w kształceniu lub szkoleniach a zatrudnieniem osób w wieku 55-64 lat. W badaniu wykorzystano statystykę opisową, w tym współczynnik korelacji rho Spearmana oraz test normalności Shapiro-Wilka. Analizę oparto na danych rocznych zgromadzonych przez GUS w okresie od 2010 do 2020 roku. Rezultaty badań wykazały, że odsetek osób uczestniczących w kształceniu lub szkoleniach, mimo wahań w czasie, w latach 2010-2020 wzrósł, a z przeprowadzonej analizy można wysnuć wniosek, że wzrost udziału osób uczestniczących w kształceniu lub szkoleniu jest bardzo silnie związany ze wzrostem wskaźnika zatrudnienia w analizowanej grupie wiekowej.
