The paper presents a proposal of a model of IT investments benefits classification. This is an analytical tool which enables modeling the structure of relationship between information processes, business processes and the whole organization. This supports identification and estimation of benefits for the purpose of IT investment appraisal. The paper contains characteristics of the model as well as a example of its practical application.
