The text is reflection over chosen addresses and posters presented during a Meanings scientific conference of quality of social work education in and changing Europe which was held in June 2019 in Madrid. Referring motifs in it chosen were presented for educating social workers in chosen European countries, with the special pressure on his quality which is understood among others as internationalizing both of process of educating, as well as the exchange of experiences in this respect between researchers and university teachers. In the article issues discussed among others will be associated with mediation and the supervision in educating social workers.

Tekst jest refleksją nad wybranymi wystąpieniami i posterami zaprezentowanymi podczas konferencji naukowej Meanings of quality of social work education in a changing Europe, która odbyła się w czerwcu 2019 r. w Madrycie. Przedstawiono w nim wybrane wątki odnoszące się do kształcenia pracowników socjalnych w wybranych krajach europejskich, ze szczególnym naciskiem na jego jakość, która jest rozumiana m.in. jako umiędzynarodowienie zarówno procesu kształcenia, jak i wymianę doświadczeń w tym zakresie pomiędzy badaczami i nauczycielami akademickimi. W artykule zostaną omówione m.in. zagadnienia związane z mediacją i superwizją w kształceniu pracowników socjalnych.

Kompetencje zawodowe kuratorów sądowyc

Osoba wykonująca zawód kuratora sądowego powinna posiadać określone cechy osobiste oraz kompetencje zawodowe. Bardzo często efektywność pracy kuratorów sądowych jest determinowana przez posiadane cechy osobiste. Prowadzone badania miały na celu określenie, jaki jest poziom wymienionych zmiennych. Uzyskane wyniki pokazują, że dla kuratorów sądowych najważniejsze znaczenie mają pozytywne relacje interpersonalne, natomiast cecha, jaką jest pozytywne nastawienie wobec siebie, osiągnęła najniższy średnik wynik. Jeżeli chodzi o kompetencje zawodowe, to najwyżej ocenione zostały kompetencje realizacyjne, a najniżej postulacyjne. To, jak podopieczni postrzegają kuratora sądowego, jest zdeterminowane przez jego predyspozycje osobowościowe, system wartości i postawę wobec norm moralnych, umiejętności komunikacyjne oraz świadomość służebności zawodu, jaki wykonują. Profesja kuratora nie powinna być kojarzona czy też utożsamiana z kontrolą osoby nadzorowanej, ale ze wsparciem, jakiego kurator udziela podopiecznym.

Professional competencies of probation officers

Each person working as a probation officer should have specific personal features and professional competence. Very often, productivity of probation officers is determined by their personal features. The current research aimed to determine, the level of variables mentioned above. The results show that positive interpersonal relationships have the highest importance for probation officers, whereas positive attitude towards oneself is the least important factor As for professional competencies, the one connected with realization was assessed the highest and postulate competence scored the lowest. The perception of probation officers by the charged is determined by their personality predisposition, a system of values, the attitude towards moral norms, communication skills, and the awareness of the servitude of their profession. The profession of the probation officer should not be associated or identified with the control of the inferiors but with the support they should be granting.
