Artykuł autorstwa pastora Tobiasa Kirchhofa przedstawia działalność znanego niemieckiego teologa Friedricha Schleiermachera (1768-1834) jako kaznodziei parafii, która znajdowała się na terenie obecnego Gorzowa Wlkp. w latach 1794-1796, w tym czasie miasto nosiło nazwę Landsberg ander Warthe. Pierwszorzędnie postawione jest pytanie, na ile potrzeba głoszenia kazań w celu zdobywania środków na życie wywarła wpływ na światopogląd i działalność młodego teologa.
