Violence has got many aspects. There are many sociological theories being concepts of domestic violence explanations. It is a manifestation of pathology and dysfunctions of family life. It takes many forms and types, and it is characterized by cyclical nature of occurrence and mechanisms that determine the relationship between a perpetrator and a victim. Victims of domestic violence are both women and men, children and elder people. Strength predominance and domination over the weak determine who is a victim and who is a perpetrator. The main goal of this study is to present the research over the verifiability of the theory of resources availability, by William Good (1971), that confirm the relation between possessing material resources and lack of them. As an example may be the connection between losing a job and being violent against a wife, as well as confirmation the existence of the relation between alcohol abuse and violence in family, especially in families that receive a parental benefit of 500+.

Przemoc jest uwarunkowana wieloaspektowo, istnieje też wiele teorii socjologicznych, będących koncepcjami tłumaczenia przemocy domowej. Jest przejawem patologii i dysfunkcji życia rodzinnego, przybiera różne formy i rodzaje, a znamiennymi jej cechami są cykliczność występowania i napędzające ją mechanizmy określające relacje między sprawcą a ofiarą. Ofiarami przemocy w rodzinie są zarówno kobiety, jak i mężczyźni, dzieci oraz osoby starsze. Wyznacznikami, kto jest ofiarą, a kto sprawcą są przewaga siły i dominacja nad słabszymi. Zasadniczym celem opracowania jest zaprezentowanie przeprowadzonych badań na sprawdzalność teorii dostępności zasobów Williama Goode’a (1971 r.), potwierdzających związek między posiadanymi zasobami materialnymi, a przede wszystkim ich brakiem – np. z powodu utraty pracy przez sprawcę, a stosowaniem przez nich przemocy wobec swoich żon, jak również potwierdzenie istnienia zależności między nadużywaniem alkoholu a stosowaną przemocą w rodzinie, zwłaszcza w rodzinach pobierających świadczenie wychowawcze 500+.

The article discusses the issue of help provided to war refugees from Ukraine by the inhabitants of Przemyśl, as well as the involvement of services, associations and foundations operating in the city in aid activities. The inhabitants of Przemyśl directly experienced the tragedy of thousands of people who, fleeing from the war, found shelter, support and a moment of rest in Przemyśl before continuing their journey. For war refugees from Ukraine, the city became a kind of human gateway towards Europe, for which the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, awarded Przemyśl the title of City-Rescuer.

El artículo aborda la cuestión de la asistencia prestada a los refugiados de guerra de Ucrania por los habitantes de Przemyśl, así como la participación de las entidades de servicio, asociaciones y fundaciones que operan en la ciudad en sus actividades de ayuda. Los habitantes de Przemyśl vivieron directamente la tragedia de miles de personas que, huyendo de la guerra, encontraron en Przemyśl cobijo, apoyo y un momento de descanso antes de continuar su viaje. Para los refugiados de guerra de Ucrania, la ciudad se convirtió en una especie de puerta humana a Europa, por lo que el Presidente de Ucrania, Volodymyr Zelenski, concedió a Przemyśl el título de Ciudad Salvadora.

Artykuł porusza problematykę pomocy udzielonej uchodźcom wojennym z Ukrainy przez mieszkańców Przemyśla, a także zaangażowania w działania pomocowe służb, stowarzyszeń i fundacji funkcjonujących na terenie miasta. Mieszkańcy Przemyśla doświadczyli bezpośrednio tragedii tysięcy ludzi, którzy - uciekając przed wojną - znaleźli w Przemyślu schronienie, wsparcie i chwilę odpoczynku przed dalszą podróżą. Miasto stało się dla uchodźców wojennych z Ukrainy swoistego rodzaju „ludzką bramą” w stronę Europy, za co prezydent Ukrainy Wołodymyr Zełenski przyznał Przemyślowi tytuł Miasta - Ratownika
