Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie kompetencji transferowalnych i specyficznych jako przedmiotu wymiany w sieciach społecznych. Przeprowadzono badania, mające na celu zidentyfikowanie kompetencji występujących w branży telekomunikacyjnej. Przedstawiono proces identyfikowania i rozróżniania kompetencji transferowalnych od specyficznych w tej branży. Wyróżnienie linii podziału: transferowalność – specyficzność otwiera możliwość zastosowania koncepcji sieci społecznych. W rezultacie kompetencje pracowników modyfikują ich relacje zatrudnieniowe i kształtują miejsce w strukturze sieci relacji społecznych wynikających z zatrudnienia.

The purpose of this article is to present specific and transferable competencies as an object of exchange relations in social networks. Conducted a study to identify the competencies in the telecommunications sector. The paper presents the process of identifying and differentiating competencies transferable from specific. The distinction of transferability – specificity opens the possibility of applying the concept of social networks. As a result, employees' competence modify their employment relationship and shapes the place in structure of the social network relations arising from employment.
