Finansowanie kapitałem obcym – konfrontacja praktyki gospodarczej z elementami teorii

The subject of the study is debt financing of enterprises, a factor significantly affecting the situation of entities conducting economic activity. The aim of the study is to meet the view on the need of engage debt in the pursuit of maximizing the benefits and market value presented in the theory of corporate finance and the theory of capital structure with economic practice. The study covered the original set of financial indicators in the years 2014-2020 in ten listed Polish production companies included in the GIP60. The survey companies accounted for the 10% of the composition of the index and about 10% of its capitalization what is likely to representative of all companies included in the index. The results of the study presented in the table in the appendix were used to define the kind of relationship between the scale of debt and the scale of operations, as well as the financial situation of each entity. The selection of indicators was made due to their usefulness in the attempt to define the aforementioned relationship.

Przedmiotem rozważań niniejszego opracowania jest wykorzystanie kapitału obcego w finansowaniu przedsiębiorstw, czynnika istotnie oddziałującego na sytuację finansową jednostek prowadzących działalność gospodarczą, tak w świetle teorii struktury kapitału jak i praktyki ich funkcjonowania. Celem badania było skonfrontowanie z praktyką gospodarczą poglądu o potrzebie angażowania kapitału obcego w dążeniu do maksymalizacji korzyści i wartości rynkowej prezentowanego w teorii finansów przedsiębiorstwa i teorii struktury kapitału. Badaniu poddano autorski zestaw wskaźników finansowych z lat 2014-2020 w dziesięciu polskich giełdowych spółkach produkcyjnych wchodzących w skład GIP60. Badane spółki stanowiły 10 proc. składu indeksu oraz około 10 proc. jego kapitalizacji, co ze znacznym prawdopodobieństwem pozwala je uznać za reprezentatywne dla wszystkich spółek objętych indeksem. Wyniki badania zaprezentowane w tabeli-załączniku posłużyły do zdefiniowania rodzaju zależności między skalą zadłużenia i skalą działalności oraz sytuacją finansową poszczególnych spółek. Dobór wskaźników został dokonany ze względu na ich użyteczność w podjętej próbie zdefiniowania wspomnianej zależności.

Today advanced infrastructure is essential for economic growth. Public funds are too short to finance all the infrastructural needs. Private entrepreneurs can supply the lacking funds. Using private funds for financing infrastructural project to help restart European economy is at heart of the Juncker plan. It also is a chance for development of public-private partnerships.

The permanent and intensifying human interference in the natural environment caused a situation in which it was necessary to take immediate, global actions aimed, firstly, at stopping the progressing degradation of our planet’s ecosystem, and secondly starting to repair the damage done. The global plan for the relevant undertaking and its implementation was presented in UN resolution in 2015, commonly known as Agenda 2030. On the global forum, it was decided that the global goals and tasks for sustainable development adopted for the implementation would be ended by 2030. The program is ongoing. There is no shortage of concerns about its feasibility. The available tools for assessing the effects may prove insufficient to obtain a reliable, comprehensive, objective picture of the situation in terms of the results achieved. In turn, numerous project implementation conditions may prevent its successful fulfillment.

Trwała i nasilająca się ingerencja człowieka w środowisko naturalne wywołała sytuację, w której konieczne okazało się podjęcie natychmiastowych, globalnych działań, mających na celu po pierwsze zatrzymanie postępującej degradacji ekosystemu naszej planety, po drugie przystąpienie do naprawy dokonanego zniszczenia. Globalny plan stosownego przedsięwzięcia i jego realizacji został przedstawiony w rezolucji ONZ w 2015 r., znanej powszechnie jako Agenda 2030. Na forum ogólnoświatowym postanowiono, że przyjęte do wykonania globalne cele i zadania na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju zostaną wdrożone do 2030 r. Realizacja programu trwa. Nie brakuje obaw dotyczących możliwości jego wykonania. Dostępne narzędzia oceny efektów mogą się okazać niewystarczające do uzyskania rzetelnego, kompleksowego, obiektywnego obrazu sytuacji w zakresie osiągniętych rezultatów. Z kolei liczne uwarunkowania realizacji projektu mogą uniemożliwić jego pomyślne wdrożenie.
