Podwyższenie wymogów w konkurencji na światowym rynku rolno-spożywczym zwiększa wagę problemu oceny międzynarodowej konkurencyjności sektora rolnego Ukrainy oraz jej regionów. Aktualny problem oceny możliwości eksportu ukraińskich produktów rolniczo-spożywczych na rynki światowe jest przedstawiony poprzez obliczenia indeksów relatywnych przewag komparatywnych RCA (Relative Comparative Advantage Index) oraz RSCA, który stanowi symetryczną transformację RCA i pozwala określić perspektywiczne rynki zbytu regionalnych produktów spożywczych. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono stosunkom z Polską.

In order to evaluate the competitiveness of Ukrainian agricultural products in world agri-food markets, indices RCA (Relative Comparative Advantage Index) and RSCA were calculated for products coming from the Zhytomir province in Ukraine. The perspectives of Ukrainian accession to the EU with respect to the agricultural sector and particularly the trade relations with Poland also were investigated.
