The paper characterized the Polish farmers' relations with banks with regard to the new opportunities for agriculture after accession to the European Union. Spatially the investigations covered the macro-region with small agricultural holdings. The main aim of the analysis was to determine the factors which are decisive for the choice of bank by farmers, as well as for the quality of co-operation of farmers with banks.

W opracowaniu dokonano charakterystyki relacji rolników z bankami w nowych uwarunkowaniach dla rolnictwa, jakie wynikają z przystąpienia Polski do Unii Europejskiej. Zakres przestrzenny badań obejmuje makroregion rolnictwa rozdrobnionego. Analizie poddano czynniki, które decydują o wyborze banku przez rolników oraz kształtują jakość współpracy rolników z bankami.
