Niniejszy tekst jest pierwszą w zasadzie pełną polską edycją pracy Józefa Dietla (1804-1878) "Praktische Wahrnehmungen...", opublikowanego w połowie XIX w. w Wiedniu. Potrzeba edycji niniejszego tekstu w języku polskim wynika z jego znaczenia dla rozwoju nowej szkoły wiedeńskiej. Dietl wyjaśnił w nim podstawy nihilizmu terapeutycznego oraz uzasadnił znaczenie matematyki, chemii i anatomii patologicznej dla praktyki lekarskiej.

This text is a first Polish edition of "Praktische Wahrnehmungen..." by Joseph Dietl (1804-1878) published in the mid-nineteenth century in Vienna. This work is classical presentation of views of the New School of Vienna. Dietl explained foundations of therapeutic nihilism and significance of mathematics, chemistry, and pathological anatomy for medical practice.
