The aim of the submitted contribution is to present references to important Hungarian saints in preserved notorious manuscripts of the territory of Slovakia and to point out their specific cult in the domestic liturgical tradition. In the Slovak Archival Collections, there are today only 17 musical sources from the Middle Ages. The following overview of the presence of saints in their context was focused only on accessible manuscripts. At the same time, we have narrowed the selection of saints, taking into account their frequencies in the respective sources. As a result of these criteria, the author focused on two Hungarian kings – St. Štefan and St. Ladislav, the royal prince St. Imrich, as well as on St. Elizabeth of Thuringia and finally on two Slovak hermits – St. Andrej-Svorad and Benedict.

Autor artykułu ma na celu zaprezentowanie odniesień do węgierskich świętych w najważniej- szych rękopisach zachowanych na terytorium Słowacji oraz zwrócenie uwagi na ich szczególny kult w narodowej tradycji liturgicznej. W słowackich zbiorach archiwalnych znajduje się obecnie tylko 17 średniowiecznych źródeł muzycznych, przy czym zaprezentowany poniżej przegląd skupiał się jedynie na dostępnych rękopisach. Ze względu na ograniczone rozmiary tekstu wyboru omawianych świętych dokonano biorąc pod uwagę ilość poświęconych im opracowań w poszczególnych źródłach. W rezultacie skupiono się na dwóch świętych węgierskich królach: Stefanie i Władysławie, a także na św. Emeryku, św. Elżbiecie Węgierskiej oraz dwóch świętych pustelnikach: Andrzeju Świeradzie i Benedykcie.
