The Apostolic Group of Divine Mercy promotes the worship of Christ the King of Mercy. The Christological title “King of Mercy” occurs in the Diary of St. sister Faustina Kowalska (no. 83; 1146; cf. 378). The article is devoted to answering the question regarding relationship between the Divine Mercy devotion and the worship of the King of Mercy. The answer is summed up in this sentence: the devotion to the Divine Mercy is a Trinitarian one and that to King of Mercy is a Christological one and emphasizes the kingship of Christ, and thus also His humanity.

Apostolska Grupa Miłosierdzia Bożego popularyzuje kult Chrystusa – Króla Miłosierdzia. Tytuł „Król Miłosierdzia” występuje w Dzienniczku św. Siostry Faustyny Kowalskiej (Dz. 83; 1146; por. 378). Artykuł poświęcony jest poszukiwaniu odpowiedzi na pytanie o stosunek kultu miłosierdzia Bożego do kultu Króla Miłosierdzia. Odpowiedź streszcza się w zdaniu: kult miłosierdzia Bożego jest trynitarny, kult Króla Miłosierdzia jest chrystologiczny i podkreśla godność królewską Chrystusa, a tym samym także Jego człowieczeństwo.
