The article presents the specificity of proceedings in the matter of securing maintenance benefits on the background of the essence, function and purpose of the proceedings to secure claims. The author defines the grounds for securing maintenance benefits, referring to both the subjective and objective aspects of securing such benefits. In the study particularly interesting cases in which maintenance benefits may be secured has also been analyzed.

W artykule przedstawiona została specyfika postępowania w przedmiocie zabezpieczenia świadczeń alimentacyjnych na tle istoty, funkcji i celu postępowania zabezpieczającego. Autor definiuje przesłanki zabezpieczenia świadczeń alimentacyjnych, odnosząc się zarówno do podmiotowych, jak i przedmiotowych aspektów zabezpieczenia tego rodzaju świadczeń. W opracowaniu przeanalizowano również szczególnie interesujące przypadki, w których może dojść do zabezpieczenia świadczeń o charakterze alimentacyjnym.
