The work aims to present the most important issues related to the develop­ment of the contemporary Messianic Movement, with particular reference to its origins and beliefs. It presents the history and religious practices of Mes­sianic Jews, who are becoming an increasingly visible part of the Jewish com­munity. The article also points out some of the main challenges faced by the contemporary Messianic Movement, which uniquely links the worlds of Christianity and Judaism. The paper aims to partially fill the gap in the Pol­ish research with regard to the subject matter under discussion, which has so far been almost absent.

Praca ma na celu przedstawienie najważniejszych zagadnień związanych z rozwojem współczesnego ruchu mesjanistycznego ze szczególnym odnie­sieniem do jego genezy oraz wierzeń. Zaprezentowana została w niej histo­ria i praktyki religijne Żydów mesjanistycznych, którzy stają się coraz bar­dziej widoczną częścią społeczności żydowskiej. W artykule wskazano także na niektóre z głównych wyzwań, przed jakimi stoi współczesny ruch mesja­nistyczny, który w unikatowy sposób łączy świat chrześcijaństwa i judaizmu. Niniejsza praca stawia sobie za cel częściowe wypełnianie luki w polskim śro­dowisku badawczym w odniesieniu do omawianego tematu, który dotychczas był prawie nieobecny.

Artykuł przedstawia zagadnienie historii i rozwoju Paschy mesjanistycznej w Krakowie w latach 2007-2019. Autor dokonuje na wstępie konceptualizacji pojęć Ruchu mesjanistyczno-żydowskiego i Paschy mesjanistycznej, a następnie przedstawia rys historyczny wydarzeń, nazywanych sederami, które od kilkunastu lat gromadzą setki uczestników: katolików, protestantów, zielonoświątkowców, przedstawicieli wolnych Kościołów. Następnie ukazuje genezę krakowskich Pasch mesjanistycznych (wieczorów sederowych), prezentując je w zestawieniu chronologicznym. Nakreśla szersze perspektywy, w jakich uwidacznia się Pascha mesjanistyczna w polskiej rzeczywistości religijnej.

The article presents selected issues related to the history and development of the messianic Passover in Kraków, in 2007-2019. These are the paschal meetings that have been gathering hundreds of participants for several years: Catholics, Protestants, Pentecostals, representatives of free churches. The first part describes the meaning of the Jewish Seder; the second shows the origin of “Kraków messianic meetings” (Seder evenings); the third one presents the chronology of these meetings. The author shows how the Kraków Seders contributed to popularizing the idea of messianic Pasches among various churches and Christian communities in Poland.
